This actually can go for any cryptid or anything that’s supernatural/paranormal.

If we ever get our hands on Nessie or Bigfoot or whatever it will be interesting for about 2 days before they are analyzed, put into a textbook and completely demystified and then it’s just gonna be another thing you learn about in school.

(Aliens might be slightly more interesting but yeah)
