Yes, people add different toppings, add on depending on context.
People put peanut butter on PB&J but no one puts peanut butter on ham sandwich.

My nephew puts it on both burgers and hot dogs. But he hates just about all other food and in weird ways like "i don't like ham on breakfast sandwiches" so I don't trust his tastes at all.

I had a peanut butter and jelly burger at a restaurant once because it was on the menu and I wasn't NOT going to order it while I had the chance. It was ok. It tasted like peanut butter and jelly on a burger.
