I have clear self feeder. My cat starts freaking out if he can see it's running out of food. He let's me know he wants me to fill it again before he'll calm down and go back to sleep.

..but does he just assume that you have access to an endless supply of kibble? My cat will never understand what i have to do to get that kibble.
