Looks like the KP is back down to 6 for tonight.
Its harder to see the aurora as we head into summer because of how long the civil twilight lasts.

This is the first I’ve heard of that index, but apparently 6 still indicates a magnetic storm.

These are the two links I check for aurora activity.
Edit: looks good for the 26th and the 31st. The hang up here is usually cloud cover.

Thanks. My plan would be to drive somewhere in eastern Washington. For light and cloud cover.
