The Kp index just hit 8 which means the auroral oval is down to nearly Seattle at the moment. Not sure how long it'll last but there's been a minor solar storm going all day.

Looks like the KP is back down to 6 for tonight.

Its harder to see the aurora as we head into summer because of how long the civil twilight lasts.

Edit: looks good for the 26th and the 31st. The hang up here is usually cloud cover.
