Because of all the bad news out there bumming us out, I thought to share something I found to be positive. Which is not to negate the problems we have to face as a state, but it's also about being more realistic about the state of affairs, as many people talk about the country having an overall rise in crime, which there's not.

Here's the stats for WA from a database started in the 30s and ended in 2018, in which we have upgraded to a more detailed system. Also consider our state population was a bit over 5 million in 1994, and right now it's at almost 8 million. Crime was much more prevalent then by raw number and rate!
