Somewhere in Olympic National Forest would likely be good for stargazing. You might consider finding a campground in the forest to stay at.

Camping is unfortunately out of the question since my three-year-old can't even get through a night in our tent in our backyard.

I was really hoping for suggestions for b aches and stuff to go to, and then spend the night in a hotel.
