TLDR: Bulkie recipes are rare and the ones I've found aren't right... seeking help!

So, I moved from Worcester County a long time ago... and there are a few things I really, really miss. Bulkies are high on that list.

I've been experimenting for a couple months and have come close, but there's details I'm missing.

I hope someone in the sub has worked at one of the old Green Street bakeries or has a recipe or "knows some things"... so to speak.

It's kind of spooky, to be honest... like a bread fight club. The folks that know how to make a proper bulkie, don't talk about making proper bulkies! So... my DMs are open to protect your identity ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Bulkie roll recipes are more top secret than the Krabby Patty formula.

Iโ€™ve never baked bread myself from scratch, but I grew up eating them in Milford because the Italian deli was a short walk away. Walking with my grandmother there was always a treat.

Hard to get decent bulkies anymore. Lederman's had great ones.
