Very common! Cats like running water in nature as instinct tells them it is more likely to be filtered and thus clean and free of microbes.

Very true. That's why I tried the fountain with filter. I still have the setup and maintain it just in case I'm not home to give her water from the sink.

Cats prefer running water, in nature i means itโs cleaner. You could get a water fountain cat machine to get them to hydrate more. I noticed a difference in how soft my cats coat was when I got my water fountain for him.

Mine too..she's spoiled. My brother who lives with me HATES this, and hates that I indulge her, but there's no way I am not going to give a thirsty kitty a drink!

My cat used to only drink from the tub faucet then moved to only drinking from the kitchen faucet and now only drinks water from a classy glass cup. Heโs a turd
