His muzzle is pretty grey, he's going deaf, and he's starting to have trouble getting up and about. We're enjoying him as much as possible for as long as possible. This was our first experience with a GSD. He's been a wonderful pet and I will be crushed when I have to say "goodbye."

I hear you, and I don't know how I will fare if anything are to happen to either one of my two silly babies. They are just absolutely wonderful. I am not as strict with her anymore. The boy, Baron, still has to follow the rules more.

He’s such a handsome boy! If you haven’t tried it yet, fish oil made a big difference in my 13 yo pup and my parent’s 17 yo pup’s mobility. Nordic naturals makes some just for pets.
