Serious question- regarding the repeat posts on this sub for many topics. Can I get some insight into why people don't seem use the search bar before posting? Is it not easily seen on mobile or something? (I've rarely logged in on my phone because I'm on or near my laptop most of the time).

No, on the official reddit mobile app (which I know people complain about but I enjoy) the search is literally the entirety of the top of the screen. It's very clear imo

Can we also talk about people snarkily just saying “why aren’t you using search” or linking to something without comments? It’s not helpful and doesn’t solve the problem.
