Dishwasher repair?

Stinks that I need someone for this so soon, but I’m in need of a consult to see what’s wrong with my dishwasher. Im handy but this seems to be a bit out of my capabilities. I’ve called a place or two, and left messages, but I’m not getting any response. Does anyone have a trusty go to in the city?

I contacted this app Puls to get someone out to look at my dishwasher. Seems it’s essentially Uber for local handymen. They came quick and evaluated the issue for $89. Well, first proposed solution didn’t work and they’re still working on it, but he seems to be trying at least. In retrospect, I should’ve just gotten a new dishwasher as it’s been a couple weeks (parts are taking a while to ship, but that’s anything today) but I’m not sure that’s his fault. Part of me thinks I may be getting jerked around too, tho. Not sure this is entirely helpful, but thought I’d share my experience.

I used KZ Express for my ice maker over the summer and Kal was great. I think he came out within a day or two of me contacting him, showed me the price of the part he suspected he needed, and was transparent with his quote. I had no issues at all and my ice maker has worked perfectly since his repair.
