Anyone who says male or white fragility is projecting

Uhhh... You've seriously never encountered fragile masculinity? Someone who won't drive a certain car or eat certain foods or wear certain things because they think it somehow reflects on their manhood? There are plenty of fragile men out there, it's not just projecting.

I have found this to be more common among my Hispanic friends. They will seemingly shy away from things that can be perceived as feminine or fancy. It’s definitely a thing that manifests in multiple ways.
God damnit Jim that fancy eggs benedict isn’t going to make people think you’re gay. Nor is a breakfast cocktail. Just order it. *Names not changed to protect the guilty

I’ve witnessed dudes like refuse to eat a banana because they think it looks like they’re sucking a dick. Wild stuff.

The absolute funniest thing about that comment coming from that [noun] is that they post in r/JordanPeterson. Which do you think he's done more of: tearful videos attacking others, or impassioned defenses of male fragility?

I never said there aren’t fragile males you doof i said anyone who says it is projecting.

If there are actually fragile men, then it logically follows that pointing one out isn't necessarily projection.

i mean both of those are real, actual things so this is a little weird to say

Yeah, it's fine to hate on the Mosbys, but to imply white and male fragility isn't real? GTFO.
covid_eileen t1_iufjuo2 wrote
Who did that?
AreWeCowabunga t1_iufzj4u wrote
The person who said literally anyone saying male or white fragility is projecting. If you don’t think it can be identified unless through projection, you’re implying it’s not actually real. If it were real, it would be able to be identified by any impartial observer.
covid_eileen t1_iug0yzn wrote
It can be observed and identified but if you accuse someone of it you are projecting
AreWeCowabunga t1_iug3h3u wrote
That makes no sense.

Anyone who would accuse someone of fragility (whether right or wrong) is projecting their own fragility
