Just moved here from Brooklyn after having visited for long periods of time over the last two years. I love Baltimore but something that really irks me is how everything revolves around cars here and how dangerous it is for pedestrians and cyclists. Even if it's your right of way, you have to keep your eyes extra peeled because cars will not yield for you.
I don't know where I was going with this but if one thing lands on the right person by heavenly grace I hope it's this: focus Baltimore planning and development away from cars. Revive the Red Line and new subway projects, more bus routes, less surface level parking lots, create more bike lanes, maintain and upgrade crosswalk countdown lights, etc. You should not have to fear cars.
One last thing, please get and out vote this November
