this is a dreamscape. Biking around the city in the time between the bike race and reopening to traffic was amazing. We have such a flat and well populated city.

Glad the contractors got it done. Apparently it was a spaghetti of pipes underneath the asphalt. Pipes dating back hundreds of years.

Baltimore is considerably less flat than basically every other city on the east cost.

I mean specifically the central area. Gets pretty punchy away from the harbor.

Baltimore is like half a bowl, with the harbor being the pit. All the way north is climbing gentle rolling hills. But you also have... Butchers Hill, Brewers Hill, Bolton Hill, Fed. Hill, Cherry Hill, Druid Hill....
