Hey all, I go to Grind in the Inner Harbor, which I really enjoy, but sometimes wish they allowed members to be there past 10 PM. Have heard a lot about Exile in Rosedale being flat-out one of the best gyms on the East Coast for serious training and was considering going there for 2023, but wanted to ask:
(1) For those of you who go, what is your realistic commute time from your neighborhood? Seems like it takes around 20 minutes by taking Pulaski Hwy all the way straight, but I feel like that is heavily dependent on avoiding the after-work rush?
(2) How much is a membership (they don’t have a website)?
(3) Do you realistically only go to Exile if it’s in the county, or do you tend to have a second local membership in the city?
Appreciate any insights, as I’m interested in the culture of being surrounded by serious lifters, having tons of open equipment, and 24 hour gym; just want to be realistic on the time spent going back and forth. Grind is my favorite city option, as opposed to something like LA Fitness / Crunch / Brick Bodies / etc. South Baltimore Strength Club seems to have heavily restricted hours which is why I didn’t suggest them.

Isn’t this the gym that was started by some skinhead/white nationalist where they use this gym to recruit members?
I went to middle/high school and graduated with the owners of Grind, Anthony Zangara and Nick Nueman I know neither of them are racist running a secret White nationalist recruiting gym.
Yup it is.
