For both my daughter and son, I take them to programs available at the library in my town. It seems like not many people are ever in it though, which is sad, because it has tons of great resources and things that are fun for the kids.
I talked to the librarian and she said that since I am a local author, they could see if my book would be a good fit to be there. However, I feel like nobody ever even goes to the library. I know 0 of people my age that ever set foot in one. Do you ever get books from your area's library or no?

Edit: WOW this blew up. I didn't realize so many people still went to the library. I was told by a close friend that it was an outdated thing! Glad to see they get so much use still, I guess it's a location thing too. Thanks for your replies <3
Edit 2: Anybody wondering why I said I don't know people around my age that go, is because my friends just don't. Granted I don't hang out with a massive number of people, but the few I have asked this question said they always stick to e-books on kindle or nook, or venture over to B&N to buy.
