If you do and keep going there is a spinoff called Corpies that occurs concurrently with year 3. While it's not essential a lot of the characters from it show up in year 4 which makes year 4 very spoilerish. Plus a scene toward the end of book 4 that will seem very weird and random without Corpies but will make you want to yell Hell Yeah if you've read Corpies.
