Omg I’m so sorry this was your first book to read after a year hiatus! I read it too thinking it was gonna be about ~ the maidens but they’re scarcely even brought up! A couple deets here & there but other than that, zilch! I absolutely despised the pedo storyline like Alex, could we not have chosen a better reason for Zoe to go on a murdering spree other than how she was in love with her aunts husband ugh just bleh
