Have you ever cried reading a book?

I can say I've cried reading manga, watching shows and films but I've never cried reading a book. Even the most memorable and heartbreaking scene for me, The Red Wedding in ASOIAF, didn't make me shed tears and I think I know why; reading is much more of an active activity than the other mediums so I'm so busy trying to picture and understand what's happening that crying is sort of by passed until much later. I'm wondering if anyone has any similar experiences with reading?
