I will be travelling to Boston for a week in September with my business school from Germany. Our daily meeting point will probably be in downtown Boston. It was also recommended that we look for accommodation in that area however it is extremely expensive!
I found a really nice place on Airbnb located in Cambridge though. Its about 9 minute walk from the Airbnb to the red line Central stop and from there I can head to Downtown. Coming from Germany this does not seem bad at all. I normally walk everywhere at any time of day and time thought I could do the same while staying in Boston.
However I have been having some doubts, especially if it will be safe or not. I will probably be heading out early in the morning and only returning late at night… alone.
Can anyone please let me know if it will be fine or should I rather book something closer to downtown and stay with the group?
