Whole Foods is probably the best quality.
Star, Shaws, stoppy, Roche, they'll all be good. Supermarket cakes are honestly great.
Whichever store is closest to you! Wegman’s and Roche Bros will probably be better quality than Shaws or Stop & Shop, but most kids will love any supermarket cake. Market Basket will also have plenty of good options.
Go to BJs or Costco, show up with a massive cake, every kid gets a 1 sqft. piece!
These are great! For grocery stores I think wegmans makes the best cake
What’s the deal with that place? Do they really only sell Bundt cakes? I’ve always wondered how that’s a viable business.
Pretty much all major grocery chains will have this, but getting staff to add words may be a problem, but the confection aisle will have the needed colored gels to do that. Stop & Shop, Shaw, Star, Roche, Wegmans, Market Basket, etc. BJ and Costco require a paid membership (about $100/yr on average) to shop their shelves.
Honestly Star Market cakes are excellent
Buy a box of Duncan Hines cake mix and some icing.
They sell Bundt cakes of all sizes, including mini Bundts. Check them out https://www.nothingbundtcakes.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1YK1iMC7-wIVScmGCh0X8AYxEAAYASAAEgLrQPD_BwE
Market basket cheap good abs you can place any pic on a cake !!!
Thank you ! I gave up after 3 tries and baked it myself. A total fail I assure you but the kids didnt notice (i think)
I missed Shaws but Roche had some good ones but nothing overly “kid” same for wegmans, they had some sheet cakes but super simple … I ended up going with my pal Betty Crocker :) Im not saying it looked great but it was chocolate cake with frosting and they were 12yos :)
Thank you ! I wished Id had the time to pop into MB but after hitting a few places, i decided on baking a “nailed it” cake myself :)
Def a tip in my back pocket for next year! This year it was only 7 kids :) thank you!
HOW DID I FORGET THIS!!!!!!! Perfect idea :( next year Im ready tho :) Thank you!
Roche also but sometimes their ready to go ones arent so “kid” designed
Dangit, another one I missed but in my book for next year, thank you so much !
Staff at wegmans were awesome trying to accommodate a cake for me but it was too big, not quite right but the bakery staff were darlings♥️
Thank you for telling me. I have one more birthday this month, and I will check Star
This was the end result :) thank you for your confidence in me :)
thank you !!!!
