Inflation has me confused. What is the norm for tipping for a beer at a bar?
$1, $2, $3, $3+
Update: Great amount of opinions. 👍 Seems like there are two main camps: $1-2 for beers (more for better service) vs 20% of bill
I agree that $1 a beer feels too low given inflation. But the model appears to be breaking if an IPA with tip is over $10.
