I think the graph is saying that, of the 50 most visited museums in the world, 3 are in France.

I’m counting 7 in the US on your source? How many total did you cut from the source to your visualization?

Not sure how much I trust OP. Source seems a bit dubious. First, it lists 7 US museums, not 4. Plus, the list has the Smithsonian African-American museum, which is the 7th most visited Smithsonian museum, so it’s missing 3 other Smithsonian museums?

It took a surprising amount of work to write a generic data parser (several revisions due to dirty data) for wikipedia and then overlaid graphs etc. Worth it for the data viz though lol!
