Brazil reached the final six times (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 1998 and 2002), of which it won five times. In 1950, they were runner-ups, but there was technically no final match because the four best teams played in a group stage to determine the winner.

From a per capita perspective, Uruguay and Croatia have performed so well.
And it makes you think how bad China are to have 1 billion+ people and no 11 top class players to make a World Cup competing squad!
