This is a visualisation of migration patterns of white stork (Ciconia ciconia) in Europe from 2015 till present. This was made possible using the open-data API from iNaturalist. The gif was made using python (GeoPandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, pynaturalist, numpy, imageio).

On a side note:

This was the first private project where I used a variety of modern AI transformers. Dall:E for the White Stork image, Code Completion from Github Copilot and ChatGPT for design questions and general questions replacing google almost completely.
