Is it Aleppo chili peppers that make them Aleppo eggs? I've got some of those growing in my greenhouse (took me years to find seeds weirdly).

Yes! Love those chili flakes, they are sweet, hot, earthy and fruity, all at once. Really envious of your homegrown Aleppos!!
