So I'm keeping this a secret from my family but im bad at secrets so I'm posting here to get it off my chest. My husband and I are driving down to my hometown for my birthday for the first time in 8 years. I've always loved doing small pranks and this seemed like the best time so I ordered a birthday cake for my twin and myself for our birthday to surprise everyone at the small family party my mom is throwing. The thing is this cake is a sheet cake and its going to be a full side to side of fire elmo. Only my twin knows and I will be picking it up on Saturday and arrive at the party with it after all the guests will be there and with my twins help we plan to cover this cake in candles all around elmo and have a real fire elmo cake. This is not far from normal for me but normally I spoil the fun by talking about it before the fact so hopefully telling strangers on the internet will stop me from spoiling it!

Its an old meme that my twin and I would send back and forth. The cake shop is going to do full icing of the meme and then after we will load it with candles and make it a real fire elmo.

Small tip: don't use trick candles, or if you do just a couple well placed ones.

we put like 40 on a friend's mom's birthday cake once as teenagers and ended having to run the whole cake outside and hose it down cuz too much fire, almost burnt some shit down on accident
