It's a well known street food here in the Philippines. It's not as bad as it's sounds. It's just the fish cakes you put on Korean or Japanese hot pots (ours are ball shape) but we deep fry them instead.

"Fish Balls" is a Filipino snack or street-food, it's basically a round shaped fishcake that we deep-fry and dip into different kinds of sauces.

"Pisbols" is basically how Filipinos with heavy accents would pronounce it.
