Back when I had the C vs G dilemma, I ended up just getting the CX 65" and creating a finished inset/hole with a heavy duty mounting arm tucked in there. So the arm and any excess backing of the TV could be pressed right into the wall. It gets pretty close to flush - and I could probably get it even closer with some wiggling. I think I saved like $5k, if I'm remembering the GX price at the time.
