Down the road sure it would be nice for Code Veronica but Capcom reaches it's bottleneck with the remakes,5 besides the dumb stuff like the Rock would get even more flack now because of the africa theme,6 is overall meh to say the least,so Veronica is one of the last decent chances for a remake throwing that in directly after this would just result in a RE3 situation.

Wouldn't really push or hope for now maybe in 4 years it would be nice,personally I hope they exhume dino crisis now

what do you mean by re3 situation? the fact that they removed a lot of stuff from it compared to the og? I was salty there wasn't much city hall stuff myself etc

True, I still thoroughly loved it though, the Hospital was perfect, bigger than the og. Idk why they thought to skip city hall, but beggars can't be choosers

However, RE: Resistance is easily top 3 gaming experiences I've ever had behind Diablo 1 and 2 and Doom 1 2 and 2016/Eternal

Can't even describe how fun playing as a mastermind is in RE: Resistance

Was kinda surprised that they remade 4 instead of CV but then again, 4 was Popular because it was the very first game to have the over the shoulder view that would later define future TPS while CV was originally a Dreamcast Exclusive and I think not a lot of people knew about the game because of that?

What would happen after Veronica is questionable they could just do a 5 if they pull something really different like Chris getting Malaria and in his feverdreams the original 5 happened,but now we see how wesker really died

That would be awesome. I remember playing it a ton on Dreamcast when I was a kid, with my cousin. I remember making it to the end of the game, and not being able to last long enough against that boss. So we restarted the game, saving as many bullets as we could.

Still could not beat her.

I remember being so intrigued by the scenes shown during the main menu, and couldn't wait to see them ingame.

So yeah, if remade on PC, I'd get it to relive my childhood some.

Edit: I looked up a walkthrough out of curiosity. I didn't realize the boss we couldn't beat is the final boss. We probably got close to the part where that special gun unlocks.

Sure let them take a stab at it ^^ I do hope they put all their focus on Resi 9. I just played Village because I found out they added third person mode, and I loved it. Can't wait to see how it continues with a certain character possibly being the new main playable one.

I've even heard from people who wish to have RE1 remade... again. It's a crazy world out there!

But I'm with you though, Code Veronica would benefit from a remake the most.

At this point Capcom needs to remake both RE0 and RE1. They are way far down the rabbit hole of remakes that it shouldn't be open for discussion.

I agree that Code Veronica should be remade sometime in the future, and if they want fresh content they can make something like the Revelation games

They ported it to PS2 as code Veronica X, with more content. I wanna see a RE:Outbreak remake. I wanna say it was the 1st RE that had online play. Great story and loved playing those different characters. I think it's one of the most underrated RE games

It was more deserving for a remake than 4. I love CV but appreciate it is full of issues, redesign needs, even and save-lock instances.

Yes. Code Veronica should have been before 4. I get that 4 is probably more popular but CV needed the update more and I think it’s probably one that got played the least because it was originally on Dreamcast. Fans probably played it later on other consoles but not being a numbered sequel out of the gate on PlayStation probably hurt it.

Side note: also need a Dino crisis remake.

I'd argue they have already done a plenty, last one was released on 2015 and holds decently to this day. Not the same engine or fast paced action as the last few, but still great

I loved CV so much. I remember rushing to the Walmart in my small town to grab a copy for the Dreamcast. Blown away by the graphics. In relation to a capcom game.. give Mega Man Legends the RE engine treatment!

Yeah walking around the manor in over the should camera style would be amazing. It’s not needed per se as the original and the RE:make were absolutely incredible as is, but it sure would be fun.

I think it's most needed. Seems to be the overwhelming popular choice for the next remake, and Capcom has been on an absolute tear with the franchise since 2017.

That would be awesome. It’s the one game in the series I never actually completed. Also Capcom has been on such a winning streak with adding VR that I would love for it to come to PS5 with PSVR 2 support.

That being said my pipe dream is for them to remake RE 1 and add VR. I want to explore Spencer Mansion in VR DAGNABIT!

Besides an RE:1 remake in this new style they've so beautifully created, i'd like to see a new original story with the classic characters we know and love.

So a 3rd person RE in the same style as the 2, 3, 4 remake, but bring back Leon, or Claire, or Chris, or Jill.

I can get behind this. The only original RE game I didn’t finish. Got bugged on the Tyrant fight on the plane and had to restart my game. Didn’t have the commitment or desire to do it again

Totally agree. RE4 didnt need a remake (it was welcomed tho, fantastic game) but RE CV NEEDS a remake ASAP. After that i could only imagine a remake of the original in the style of the new games. But i wont hold my breath.

agreed. being able to actually experience Tyrants size compared to chris or jill would be an amazing moment. it would be great if they kepts and added to more of a difference between both characters game differences to have more of an impact on each character.

Definitely. This was a title i really wanted to enjoy but it just didnt deliver for me. Im a long time RE fan. Especially the first few. Steve has got to be the worst, most annoying character in any resident evil. Lord ashford was a bit annoying as well. A new RE veronica with RE2 remake gameplay, improved voice acting and Steve complete overhaul would be great

DMC1 cause it's pretty much the grandfather of all modern stylish action games.

DMC2 cause that game just deserves a second shot at life.

Even better if you can weave them into a single title somehow.
