Oh, I thought you were using the phrase all the dark souls fans tend to say when people ask for an easy mode in that series. I have seen the fan base typically be like “well maybe this isn’t the game for you then.” Hence the “That's crazy bro, guess my comment wasn't for you then huh?” My bad.

Never played any souls games, as per my original comment, I do not enjoy games that are "hard" for the sake of it.

So you'll never understand how someone can like something you don't, a feature that exists but doesn't affect you? Difficulty settings have existed for a long time. No one was batting an eye at Goldeneye or Doom or Duke Nukem having difficulty choices back in the 90s...
