Few Reddit commenters are as annoying as the ones who accuse people of "defending" corporations when they're just...explaining how stuff is.

Specifically, the sentence "Did you think you were doing to get the game for a massive discount?" which I interpreted as him being snotty to someone hoping to get a pack-in game (and from his other posts, my interpretation was correct.)

This is an example of playing defense for a corporation's right to make you pay more money than you might have had to pay a few generations ago. We used to get pack-in games, and as consumers our interest is to decry the fact that they've stopped, not to dissuade people from hoping they'd start it up again.
