Are you Scandinavian, or was the game developer (whoever it may be) really that sadistic? So many accents and umlauts!

(I don't know what an umlaut is, I just wanted to say umlaut)

I do believe the Umlauts just delineate lower case from upper. Later the one dot is just to save time writing them down.

Oh damn you may be right, I vaguely recall trying to make my own system to decode my own handwriting back in the day too. Sadly at nearly 40 my handwriting hasn't improved 🤣
