You do realiae studios release games in beta/early access to get around the delays caused by xbox/psn/steams etc testing phase so they can quickly make changes if there are game breaking bugs?

Fortnite BR was released in this way so that they didnt have to get "approval" from xbox/psn to make daily/weekly updates.
