This one was a sequel. The original was a not great attempt to cash in on the GTA craze, and was on the original Xbox

Yeah, you're probably right. I was thinking it was 2003 or 04, but it came out like 6 months after GTA 3, so the timelines don't match up.

Not just a sequel but the fourth game in the series. I only barely remember the first one.
