Webster's dictionary defines wedding as ‘the fusing of two metals with a hot torch'

Most weddings end up in flames so you basically correct.

It bugs me that the bead doesn't match the movement of the torch.

Shouldn't the arc be directed to the right rather then left in this instance? Idk many years since I welded but this angle feels off for some reason.

For the actual animation, very well done, so satisfying and clean.

I push the weld with MIG welding and pull the weld with stick welding

Im too tired to try compare this 2d angle to real life but I think it is right?

stick welding beads tend to look like that whether or not you put some whipping motion into it. Although those dimes are definitely pronounced

I think I'd like it more if the red aura flickered a bit with the sparks. It's so flat and stationary, feels off once you notice it.

You will not get stacks of dimes with a drag rod not using any movement.
