Did some (mandatory IMO) mods to my fave cans.

1. RCA detachable cable instead of the awful stock one.

Even though choice of RCA might be questionable for some, I enjoy it a lot as I now have embraced it in my other equipment as well, I have the RCA plugs laying around everywhere so I don't have to worry about jack, mini jack, whatever.

1. MrSpeakers Ether C foam pads instead of stock velour ones.

Honestly, I can't say changed they sound much, if anything it made it a bit less trebly, which is a good thing for the 770's. But it makes a huge difference in looks & feel and am again in love with them. (Thought biggest reason I wanted to try them was because I wasn't able to source good quality replacement for my very well worn original ones)

But for real, are there actual 1/4" plugs going into the body of the headphones? Was that a tight fit?
