They're all doing this now. Each time a company releases a new flagship headphone, it's at least 50% more expensive than their previous one.

Some are even "discontinuing" "lesser models" then coming out with a similar headphone with like 2% increase in performance for 80% more money (Looking at you Focal)

wouldn't be surprised, they buundle sound drivers in their video card drivers for some weird reason so maybe they are thinking about it
