I mean do not take me wrong here, I like how they are being ignored, but since the geaming headphones are so popular in the gaming community, I really thought that the gaming iems were going to be popular as well. I'm really glad people like to talk about "audiophile iems" for the gaming community and not just buying it because it's a gaming brand community.
Final Audio VR3000 iems are advertised for gaming and being similar/same as A3000's only with cut corners on cable quality and packaging to lower the price. Haven't tried them for FPS gaming yet but they seem very v-shaped but leaning on treble being forward and sharp with a wide soundstage presentation. They might be really accurate for FPS gaming.

Gaming marketing iems doesnt make them better at gaming. Gaming mouse like zaunkoenig m2k is actuallt better than normal mouse for gaming due to actual gaming oriented features like 8000hz polling rate and carbon fibre no hole body for lowest 20gram weight. While these "gaming" iem dont have any actual features to aid gaming.
There are no gaming headphones either. Just marketing. We don't need that BS in the IEM space too.
that's exactly my point, but still a lot of people talk about the hyperx cloud2 or the razer headsets which get a lot of credit for not giving us much. But this does not happen with the iem community.
no one talks about gaming iems because normal iems can do the same job without the marketing. even stock earphones from phones can be used for gaming.
add the fact that gaming headphones steal attention gaming iems get from customers of 'gaming' brands.
truth to be told, stereo is 99% of the battle when it comes to audio. imaging and soundstage play an extremely low role in gaming performance. if you take the best CSGO team in the world and gave one team a bunch of HD800S and an exact clone of that team a bunch of $10 stereo sony earbuds that you can buy from walmart, i would expect the hd800s team to have maybe 50.5% chance of winning.
Cos all IEMs that are tuned well can be used for gaming... Please don't being the "Gaming Headphones" mindset towards IEMs... Leave the precious little devices alone

I'm not sure that I have tried any IEMs marketed specifically for gaming but I do see them from time to time and I do use IEMs for gaming quite often.
I do have quite a few IEMs but one that comes to mind most vividly during my gaming sessions would be my Final Audio A4000. The sound is crystal clear and It is excellent at picking up distant ambient details. Placement and strength/volume of various sound seems to be just right. There is just enough bass to give some weight without being a distraction in other areas. While not being my favorite IEM for music it does feel like it was made for the kinds of games I like to play such as Star Citizen.
This is actually incorrect. The lowest input latency will be achieved using a device with ASIO drivers.

No games use asio drivers. Lots of testing on audio latency has been done by riot devs, league of legends game devs. They found earphones directly connected to motherboars best for lowest lag for games. Asio gives lower lag than this but only if software supports it, but no game does.

Your computer utilizes the drivers, not the game. So you are technically correct on that point. Though everything on steam is standardized (on windows at least) so this is a moot point.
I wouldn’t trust what developers say. They give unrealistic or biased information (obviously). Third party measurements are much more reliable.

No one asked you to trust a developer, or a Reddit user. This thing called google can give you the answers you are looking for.
And there are in fact third party measurements. They are irrelevant though because they determined there is zero perceivable difference. The actual measured number is so insignificantly small, it isn’t even worth considering.

Wider soundstage doesn't help. You just train your reflexes to the narrower soundstage and 99% of it is game sense anyway. You know the options for where enemies could be coming from. You don't need to know within a fraction of an arc degree. They are either coming from the opening to the left of you in front or to the right etc....
Same here, I recently bought a pair of s12 pros for iem gaming when i don’t want to use my larger over ear sets.
In my eyes the only true gaming IEMs are Final VR3000 but they aren't the greatest at music because of tuning. Tbh it's not necessary, any IEM can work fine for gaming because it's skill that matters.

I think it's because all IEMs can be gaming Iems. At least with analog connections.
There are definitely some true wireless earbuds that have low latency modes and RGB and our advertised as gaming.
But I think gamers would be fine with tin t2s, or kbear ks1 or something

There is no gaming iem. For lowest lag you have to directly plug into motherboard jack. Motherboard jack cant handle heavy headphones like 250ohm dt770 pro. So best use something like sennheiser ie300 iems for the best sound for the power available from the jack. Best gaming audio is just using good iems directly into motherboard for lowest lag.
