Headphones are the HD660’s, and IE300’s being powered by a topping dx3pro+. Started my journey down this rabbit hole with a pair of hd599’s that I got on sale. I also have a pair of tin hifi t2’s but the left bud just doesn’t seem to work that well lol. Super happy with it for now. I think the next purchase might be a little portable DAC/AMP unit, but for now.. I’m pretty darn happy ! As for the max’s, don’t judge.. they are convenient and I like noise canceling sometimes lol.

I have pretty similar gear. I started out with the DT990 Pro and now have the HD600's, I also got the DX3 Pro+ and it is pretty powerful for its size.

The maxes are really nothing to scoff at! Much more refined than the sonys, boses, and beats of the world. Maybe not Bathys level sound quality (I haven't felt like trying them at my local dealers), but from what I've seen here, Focals build quality can be a bit sketchy.
