I had this issue on iOS 16.3.1.

Got forced onto iOS 16.4 public beta but it sure fixed my issue, battery got better and is shockingly smooth to boot

so is it worth the beta? i “unsubscribed” from the beta when ios 16 was in beta, as it literally destroyed my phone and i had to have a tech store downgrade it and reset it for me haha

To me it was, but it’s because downloading the beta from a “stable” release is the closest thing to flashing the device with new software without totally restoring it and I didn’t want to go through the trouble of setting up my iPhone from scratch. I’m either going to stay on this software until iOS 17 or move to the stable release of iOS 16.4, depending on what people say when it releases.
