so today my iphone 13 was randomly restarting, stuck in a boot loop pretty much for about 15 minutes. acter that it was fine for a lut a other 10 minutes then randomly started restarting again this time not stopping at all. so I tried hard restarting, didn't work. connected it to itunes (I'm already on the latest software) and tried to update again. didn't work. so I tried getting out of recovery mode by restarting but it wouldnt budge. at this point I got really frustrated an was willing to start to factory reset. and so that what I did but when it came to the part where it connects to the iphone to start the process it would give me and error saying there was an issue with iphone and it needs to be restored. so I started searching up if there's anything else I can do and I saw DFU mode and remembered back in my iphone 8 jailbreaking days DFU mode was my best friend. and I know that DFU can fix my issue. problem is how do I get into DFU mode from recovery mode as it's stuck in there. I've tried to do the process but it won't work. help pls

It looks like you are incorrectly flashing your device through iTunes. When restoring, did iTunes give you any error numbers? for example 4013

error 4013. I'm doin it with usbc to lighting cable and on windows. is it because I have to do it on a Macbook or something?

That's what I was thinking. error 4013 is caused by a problem with the NAND chip. This chip is the storage in your device. this is a common problem and spontaneous reboots are a symptom of it. This is solved by soldering a new chip. you need to contact a specialist or exchange the phone under warranty

the phone only has 42gb of storage used and has 128gb. is it possible to sell the phone for parts? I bought it on marketplace I highly doubt it has warranty.

I do not know where it is more profitable to sell such devices in your country. You can try it on the marketplace. I know they are well bought on eBay
