Sounds like it needs a carrier services update, or it’s on of the esim issues and you need an actual SIM card. Call your carrier.

I called my carrier they asked me to insert my sim into another device and it worked on the device so it’s probably something with my phone or iOS 16.1 bug, anyways thanks alot, lets see how the scheduled call with Apple goes tomorrow. Hope its not some hardware issue.

What carrier? I’m guessing outside the US, since you’re talking about physical SIM cards and US 14 models don’t have those.

Thanks i hope so too, just a lil skeptical about the replacement thing, a friend of mine told me they send refurbished ones as replacement. Never had a replacement so idk. But i am sure it isn’t true.

I trust Apple refurbs more than most company’s new. You’re good there, refurb or not.

If you’re still within the return policy, I’d suggest doing a straight return and exchange, honestly. But don’t worry, this early into the 14 release I doubt you’ll get a refurb.
