When I walk with my Airpods on and I get a text my music gets interrupted by a notification noise and the Siri lady helpfully informs me that I have received a text and starts reading it to me.

It annoys the absolute heck out of me.

I am trying to figure out how to disable it. I know I can just press on the Airpod once to shut her up but I would like to know how to disable it.

I’ve tried looking in settings and there could be something obvious that I have missed.

Any ideas, guys? Thanks.

I assume you’ve already turned off ‘announce notifications’ in the notification settings?

Setup a focus. For lifting I let the app I use to tracking lifts to notify me and that is all.
