I will try ProRaw, have hearing a lot of good things about it. Will post my finding here.
And the reason I got myself an iPhone was because I read many "reviews" saying that iPhone photos can easily match photos taken on DSLR in most of the cases.
Anyways do you know if the iPhone photos' sharpness can be toned down or turned off somewhere in the settings?
Thanks!

People who compare an iPhone to DSLR don’t know cameras. An iPhone will never replace DSLR’s and for a smartphone it takes excellent pics but has its limitations whereas a high end dedicated DSLR doesn’t. You can reduce sharpness when you edit the photo after it’s taken. Or play around with the various photographic styles and you can edit your own. ProRaw will get you more comparable results to a DSLR especially if you set it to 48MP.
You can also look at third party camera apps if you wish to tweak things even more.

It's getting closer, but I don't think it'll every replace the DSLR or mirrorless camera like the Sony A7.
The second image looks like an extreme version of the pictures I've taken. Definitely give ProRAW a shot to see. I think there's just too much going on for the 12 MP version to handle.
