Yes, I am one of these guys that still use an iPhone 6, don't get me wrong the device is pretty functionable...But I am planning on buying a new iPhone at start of 2023. But for now, as time passes a lot of apps are becoming incompatible with iOS 12.5 and its kind of frustrating how apps like Twitter, Medium, Notion, Pocket...etc. don't support iOS 12.5. While I appreciate the fact that the iPhone 6 is an 8 year old phone and the fact that it doesn't have the power to meet the standards of certain apps we have today, yet can't I just download older versions of these apps?

Meanwhile, Android phones equivalent to the iPhone 6 will continue getting app updates probably forever due to the fundamental open nature of Android.

Be glad you got the use out of it that you did.

It’s time to upgrade.

You can download older version of apps, just not that old.
