14 Pro Max is littered with software issues

From my camera freezing to the screen freezing, vibrating, and not allowing me to swipe up without locking and unlocking my phone, to the fact that certain apps are buggy and don’t even work on my phone but are fine on my friend’s 12 Pro, to my Airpods having syncing issues that weren’t present on my previous phone. The list goes on and they’re all things I’m seeing other people experience.

I was an 11 Pro Max user for a long time. I very rarely had issues and most weren’t even repeatable. I was convinced that Apple made phones that “just worked” because that’s how mine was for years.

This is the single most frustrating device I’ve ever used and it’s embarrassing that a flagship at this price point is riddled with repeatable bugs that hurt the user experience so much.

Did you update to IOS 16.3 just came out yesterday the previous update which is probably what your on is littered with software bugs.

I’ll update it today and see if the myriad of old problems continue. Thanks for the heads up.

Try updating to 16.3 if that doesn’t help you may have hardware issues. Since release my 14 Pro Max has been very stable.

You must have some kind of hardware issue/lemon or some kind of software has gone buggy. I’ve literally had not had one of the issues you are mentioning.

But you say you seeing other people experience the same? In what way?

What apps specifically are buggy on your phone but work on your friend’s 12 Pro?

Also let us know if the update does help - this is just polar opposite of the experience I’ve had. Had it since day 1 and other than some of the specific short-term software issues that get fixed in the next iOS update this has probably been the best iPhone experience I’ve had so far.
