it’s the cost of doing business just like square takes a % cut of all transactions for their pos. it’s undeniable that deliveries have kept these restaurants afloat.

haha just because these apps take a 15-20-30% doesn't mean the apps are taking money away from restaurants. mostly all restaurants in JC circumvented the cut by charging customers more per menu item than what'd you pay for walk-in/pick up menu prices.
i would think the apps help restaurants make more money in the long run because of the access to more markets the apps provide. they aren't relied upon locals to keep their doors open.
