Toxic avenger became the first superhero for Jersey City because of all the chromium that Jersey City has.

History has it that there was a 100 year old CHROMIUM PLANT that was dumping CHROMIUM for 100 years where the gated community Droyers Point - Society Hill is Today.

AND THERE IS STILL CHROMIUM IN JERSEY CITY , New Jersey Also in KEARNY , NJ and SECAUCUS , NJ
